Abstract:
Perseverance refers to the ability to persist in the face of challenges, setbacks, or prolonged effort while striving toward a goal. For higher secondary students, this trait is particularly crucial as they navigate a formative period of their lives that involves academic, emotional, and social challenges. This study presents a detailed analysis of a perseverance scale designed for higher secondary students. The scale's items were evaluated using t' test to assess discrimination power, Cronbach's Alpha for internal consistency, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests for normality. From an initial pool of 42 items, 30 were selected based on rigorous statistical criteria. The study highlights the importance of developing reliable measurement tools for perseverance, a critical determinant of academic success
